About FormBench

FormBench is an independent research site about small-business payroll software. We publish verified prices, show the monthly math at real headcounts, and write reviews that name tradeoffs instead of burying them. It exists because most payroll pricing information online is either written by the vendors themselves or by affiliate sites whose income depends on the recommendation.

Who is behind it? The site is run by Sumith, who researches and writes the reviews. I use AI tools to speed up data collection and drafts, and every page is reviewed and edited by me before it goes live. Corrections and update history are noted on each page.

How we make money: display advertising and, later, affiliate commissions. When you click some links and buy, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never decides rankings; the editorial standards spell out the separation.

What we cover: payroll pricing, payroll software reviews, cost calculators, and employer-tax explainers for US businesses. We don't publish medical, legal, or specific financial advice, and nothing here is a substitute for your accountant.
